The Liu Shiming Art Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2021, supports students of the arts worldwide while elevating and preserving the art of our namesake, renowned Chinese artist, Liu Shiming. We provide scholarships, grants, and exchange opportunities to cultivate and grow a global arts discourse that recognizes our common humanity, as Liu Shiming did through his art and his life.
Our programs are rapidly expanding, with the aim of creating a platform for the study of arts, history and culture that will broadly share the rich aesthetic, inclusion and humanity of art.
The work of the Foundation is made possible thanks to the generosity of family, friends, and former colleagues of the artist, along with philanthropists who value the vital importance of art.
